4-4-20 - UPDATE
Due to the Corona Virus Pandemic, drinking fountains will be turned off so we will allow bottles and cans back into the facility for a short period of time. However, all bottles and cans MUST be disposed of in the proper waste receptacles and not in scrap hoppers. Everyone MUST be responsible and ensure that the bottles and cans are disposed of properly.
Employees are not permitted to enter the facility earlier than 45 minutes prior to the start of their shift. Please maintain social distancing when arriving and in parking lots.

Due to the Corona virus pandemic and the method we have to schedule, we will not be utilizing the rotating day off scheduling provision.

Important Message
Thank you to all our employees for their patience and cooperation as we navigate this unprecedented pandemic our country is experiencing. Adjustments and precautions are being taken for the health and welfare of our employees. We will continue to monitor the crisis and make appropriate changes as necessary and we will keep you informed. Please listen to this recording for all information related to our operations.

Regarding Start Up Operations:

Plant #1 (Struthers location): The maintenance department has been on a continuous schedule. Those employees need to continue following that schedule.
Extrusions (Press #1, #2, #3 and #4), Labor Relief, Die Shop, Heat Treat, Packing, Shipping, Thermal and Strut employees need to report to work on Monday, April 6, 2020 at 7:00 am.

Paintline employees need report to work on Monday, April 6, 2020 at 3:00 pm.

Paintline employees need to enter the facility through the ramp door by the unloadside of the paintline next to the tent. A time clock has been relocated inside the paintline.
Tents have been placed at the main entrance door and the paintline ramp door to assist with social distancing. Each employees temperature will be taken upon reporting to work.

All operation managers and supervisors need to report to work as scheduled.

All supervision is asked to report to work one half hour prior to the scheduled start times for their shifts.

All office and clerical employees need to contact their immediate department manager (if they have not already reached out to you) to see how you are scheduled next week.

Plant #2 (Lake Park Road location): The maintenance department needs to report to work on Sunday night, April 5, 2020 at 7:00 pm.

Extrusions (Press #5 and #6), Die Shop, Shipping and Packing need to report to work on Sunday night, April 5, 2020 at 11:00 pm.

All operation managers and supervisors need to report to work as scheduled.

All supervision is asked to report to work one half hour prior to the scheduled start times for their shifts.

All operation employees are required to enter the plant on the Thalia Street entrance. A tent has been placed at this entrance door to assist with social distancing. Each employees temperature will be taken upon reporting to work.

All office and clerical employees need to contact their immediate department manager (if they have not already reached out to you) to see how you are scheduled next week.

Plant #3 (McClurg Road location): The maintenance department needs to report to work on Sunday night, April 5, 2020 at 9:00 pm. The paintline loadside will need to report to work on Sunday night, April 5, 2020 at 10:00 pm. The paint unloadside, packing, shipping and fabrication need to report to work on Sunday night, April 5, 2020 at 11:00 pm.

All operation managers and supervisors need to report to work as scheduled.

All supervision is asked to report to work one half hour prior to the scheduled start times for their shifts.

All operation employees are required to enter the plant at the main entrance. A tent has been placed at the main entrance door to assist with social distancing. Each employees temperature will be taken upon reporting to work.

All employees (at each location) need to wash their hands frequently, practice social distancing, disinfect their areas and tools and utilize common sense at the smoking locations, restrooms, locker rooms and break areas.
